Halifax, Nova Scotia

After graduation, I'm going to attend one of the Canadian universities that accepted me. Among them, Dalhousie University is in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where I don't really know anything about. Therefore, I decided to study the geographical characteristics of Halifax.

Halifax, Nova Scotia is located at the eastern end of Canada(44 degrees north and 63 degrees west). Halifax has an eastern-maritime climate. Its winter is very cold, and summer is short and warm. There are fogs often, about 100 days a year, therefore sunshine is rear. And it snows quite often, about 90 days a year.

There are 360,000 people in Halifax. About 40% of people of Nova Scotia lives in Halifax, since it is the capital city of the province.
