Qingdao

My Trip to Qingdao

Qingdao is where my parents live in. Being near to Dalian, it's climate is quite similar to Dalian. Every vacation I go back there and hang out with my family. In Qingdao I have traveled several places. Wu Si Square is one of the famous tourist spot in Qingdao, and it's located along the coastline. In the Square, there is a red sculpture called "The Wind of May", which is the symbol of the city. I have seen it once when I went to the square with a friend of mine.

I also visited Mt. Lao with my family for few times. Mt. Lao is also beside the sea, thus tourists can see the beautiful scenery of both the mountain and the ocean at Mt. Lao.

Mt. Lao is composed mainly of huge layers rocks. Chinese technicians had cut the rocks and constructed roads for tourists. Everytime I go there, I am worried about potential landslide or falling of rocks. What's more, I have never seen any rockshed or retainning walls in Mt. Lao. Um-hmm... Everyday, over some hundred people visits the mountain where their safety is not secured. What if a landslide occurs? I think some changes should be made for the tourists.
